ANDRITZ commissioned as general contractor

By commissioning the international technology group ANDRITZ, rostock EnergyPort cooperation GmbH is taking another important step towards realizing the planned green hydrogen production plant in the port of Rostock. As EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), ANDRITZ will be responsible for the engineering in the approval phase of the 100 MW electrolysis plant in the coming months. Subject to an investment decision later this year, ANDRITZ will supply the plant using HydrogenPro’s alkaline pressurized electrolysis technology, with commissioning scheduled for 2027. The overall system includes a hydrogen production plant as well as auxiliary and supply systems, systems for hydrogen purification and compression, storage and a trailer filling station. The 100 MW electrolyzer will be one of the first to be connected to the German hydrogen core network and thus make an important contribution to the energy transition.
